Frequently asked questions

What is the surgery plan and how is it made?

You answer a short set of questions — your surgery date and time, the operation, who's having it, whether you go home the same day, your medicines and health flags, any worry, and what you want to get back to. It then builds one personalized page: your exact fasting cut-off times, a take/hold medication summary, a dated countdown, what to bring and remove, the right questions to ask, the warning signs, and rough recovery dates for driving, work, lifting and more. It's general guidance reviewed by an anesthesiologist — your own team's instructions always come first.

Is my information stored anywhere?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your plan is saved only on your own device so you can come back to it, and the 'share' link puts the details in the web address — nothing is sent to us or stored on a server.

Can I print it or put it on my phone?

Yes. There's a print / save-as-PDF button, and a share link you can text to family or reopen on your phone. Many people print it and keep it on the fridge, or save the PDF.

Are the recovery dates exact?

No — they're typical ranges from mainstream patient guidance for that type of operation, to set expectations. Your surgeon's discharge advice and how you heal decide the real dates. When can-I dates show both an earliest and a usual point.
